Belle Époque Old Mine Ring

Wake up slow, café au lit, dress for a parade of afternoon visits - silk, gloves and jewels. A carriage through Paris, perhaps a fitting at a couturier, a stop at the jeweller on the Rue de la Paix. Then home to change for dinner and the opera.

When I look at this ring I imagine this life. Somewhere in that glittering world of early 1900s Paris, this ring would have been slipped onto a finger, worn to dinners, its old mine cuts dazzling in the candlelight between whispered conversations and clinking coupes. History in a ring.

A one-of-a-kind 18k fluted old mine cut cluster ring from the Belle Époque era (1900-1915). Sz 6, can not be sized. 10grams
